Description: The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central Arkansas…eastern Arkansas…north central
Arkansas…southwest Arkansas and western Arkansas, including the
following areas, in central Arkansas, Conway, Faulkner, Garland,
Grant, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, White and Yell. In eastern
Arkansas, Jackson, Lawrence and Randolph. In north central
Arkansas, Baxter, Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Newton,
Searcy, Sharp, Stone and Van Buren. In southwest Arkansas, Clark,
Dallas, Hot Spring and Pike. In western Arkansas, Johnson, Logan,
Montgomery, Polk and Scott.

* Through Thursday morning

* Given saturated soils and flooded creeks and rivers, any
additional rainfall will lead to flash flooding.

* Widespread flash flooding will be possible across the watch area
and likely over areas that have already received significant
rainfall in the last 24 to 48 hours. This includes high-end, life
threatening flash flooding necessitating water rescues. Please
heed all future warnings!
Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to
Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You
should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should
Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
