The National Weather Service in Memphis has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include a portion of West Tennessee,
including the following areas, Benton TN, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer,
Gibson, Henry, Lauderdale, Obion and Weakley.

* Through Thursday morning

* Another round of heavy rain and thunderstorms is expected across
portions of northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel and
northwest Tennessee this afternoon into tonight. Significant
rainfall from prior days has left soils nearly saturated, meaning
the risk for additional flash flooding will be high.

* Flash flooding will be possible across the watch area, especially
in areas that have already received significant rainfall over the
past several days. Please heed all flash flood warnings.
Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to
Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You
should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should
Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
