Description: At 338 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a large area of rainfall with
embedded thunderstorms which was producing heavy rain across the
warned area. Radar estimates of 3 to 5 inches extended from
southeast Hutchinson through much of Bon Homme county. Flash
flooding and significant ponding is likely ongoing across much of
the area.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage
and low lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Tyndall, Springfield, Tripp, Avon, Tabor and Kaylor.
Instruction: Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
