* Until 700 AM CDT.

* At 443 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported some roads flooded
in the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
Flash flooding is already occurring and will continue this morning.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Law enforcement.

IMPACT…Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

* Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
River Falls, Prescott, Afton, Baldwin, Hammond, Roberts,
Woodville, Glenwood City, Prairie Farm, Ridgeland, Forest,
Emerald, Arland, Cylon, Downing, Connorsville, Reeve, Kinnickinnic
State Park and Afton State Park.
Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
