Description: At 903 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over West Peoria, or near Peoria, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Washington and Bay View Gardens around 915 PM CDT.
Germantown Hills and Spring Bay around 920 PM CDT.
Metamora and Rome around 925 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Peoria
Heights and Mossville.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 474 between mile markers 7 and 9.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 88 and 96.
Instruction: TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
