* Moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall is expected through most

moving through the Southeast. Even though widespread rainfall
amounts should only be between one and two inches, soils remain
very saturated across the area which will lead to heavy runoff
and ponding in low-lying areas and roadways. In addition, many
rivers are currently at very high streamflows with further
runoff from additional rain leading to a greater threat of flash
flooding.
Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
