Description: Many areas have seen 1 to 2 inches of rain overnight and into
this morning. Moderate to heavy rain will continue over western
Kentucky through the afternoon. Another round of rain will spread
over southeast Missouri and southern Illinois by mid afternoon.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* All of southwest Indiana and western Kentucky. Portions of
southern Illinois, including Gallatin, Hardin, Massac, and Pope.

* Through this evening

* Multiple rounds of showers, and perhaps a thunderstorm or two,
can be expected today and into this evening. Up to 2 inches of
rainfall is expected in some areas, with higher amounts

* The greatest flood or flash flood concerns will be in low
lying and poor drainage areas. Roads that typically flood may
be impacted.
Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
