Pike County in southwestern Indiana…

* Until 330 AM CST.

* At 1225 AM CST, Warrick county law enforcement reported flooding
on a number of roads in northwest Warrick County that were covered
by Flash Flood Warning earlier this evening. At this time, law
enforcement and the National Weather Service have yet to receive
any reports of flooding in Pike County Indiana. Radar estimates of
two to nearly four inches of rain have fallen across the warned
area this weekend. Little or no additional rain is expected in the
warned area overnight, however it will take some time for water to
recede from flooded areas. This Areal Flood Warning will replace
the Flash Flood Warning that was in effect until 1 am CST.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Lynnville, Winslow, Elberfeld and Spurgeon.
Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
