Description: * LOCATIONS…Shoreline in the District of Columbia.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE…One and a half to two feet above normal.

* TIMING…Minor flooding is expected to occur late this morning
and into this afternoon. Moderate flooding is possible around
the time of high tide late tonight. High tide at Washington
Channel will occur at 3:51 PM today and at 4:13 AM early Sunday
morning.

* IMPACTS…Up to one foot of inundation above ground level is
possible. Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of
the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop
Road, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial. Minor
shoreline inundation up to one foot above ground is possible
elsewhere.
Instruction: A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.

A Coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be
alert for later statements or warnings, and take action to
protect property.
