Description: The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Navajo County in north central Arizona…
Coconino County in north central Arizona…

* Until 815 PM MST.

* At 645 PM MST, a river indicated 5 foot rise in Jacks Canyon
around 540 PM. This water will drain into the Little Colorado
River. Other rises are also expected in East Clear Creek.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Jacks Canyon, East Clear Creek, and the Little Colorado River.

This includes the following streams and drainages…
Cottonwood Wash…Clear Creek…Jacks Canyon…
Tucker Flat Wash and Little Colorado River.
Instruction: Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.
Washes, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
