Description: The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of east central Kansas and
northeast Kansas, including the following areas, in east
central Kansas, Morris, Shawnee, and Wabaunsee. In northeast
Kansas, Jackson.

* From this evening through Wednesday evening

* Several rounds of thunderstorms producing heavy rain are
possible overnight and especially during the day on Tuesday into
Tuesday night. Some areas may receive an additional 2 to 3
inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible.

Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
