Northwestern Coffey County in east central Kansas…
East central Lyon County in east central Kansas…

* Until 245 AM CDT.

* At 217 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 5 miles northwest of Neosho Rapids, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Melvern Lake around 240 AM CDT.
Olivet and Beto Junction around 245 AM CDT.
