Description: The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of southwest California…including the following…
Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills near the Holy Fire burn scar.

* until 6 PM PST this evening

* Periods of showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue this
afternoon, some with locally heavy rainfall. There is a chance
that rainfall rates will exceed one-half inch in one hour.

* There is the potential of mud slides and debris flows in and
near the Holy Fire burn scar. Debris flows can happen suddenly
with little time to act. Heed the advice of local officials.
In addition, minor street flooding is possible along with the
possibility of some road closures.

Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
