Description: At 407 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated the remnants of
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. One to
tow inches of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to
subside through the evening hours.

Additional rainfall amounts of a half inch is possible in the warned
area.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 40 between mile markers 226 and 266.
Interstate 840 between mile markers 68 and 76.

Instruction: Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
