Description: * LOCATIONS…Shoreline in the District of Columbia.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE…Around 2 feet above normal due to fresh
water flowing down river from Little Falls.

* TIMING…The highest water levels will be within a few hours of
high tide. The next high tide at Southwest Waterfront is at
12:31 AM tonight.

* IMPACTS…Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of
the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop
Road, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial. Minor
shoreline inundation up to one foot above ground is possible

Instruction: A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
