Description: At 616 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms have produced heavy rain in the warned area over the
past several hours. Over four inches of rain have fallen in some
areas this afternoon with additional light to moderate rainfall
continuing. The flash flooding threat will continue into this
evening.

Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Cedartown, Rockmart, Aragon, Fish Creek, Etna, Esom Hill, Antioch and
Van Wert.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
