Description: A line of thunderstorms will accompany a cold front moving across
the area this morning. An additional 2 to 4 inches of rainfall
will result in a continued threat of flooding until thunderstorms
exit the area.
The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of Louisiana and southeast Texas, including the
following areas, in Louisiana, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard,
Calcasieu, Evangeline, Rapides, Vernon, and West Cameron. In
southeast Texas, Hardin, Jefferson, Northern Jasper, Northern
Newton, Orange, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton, and Tyler.

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

* A cold front will continue to bring widespread showers and
thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall through this
morning. Additional rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches with
localized higher amounts can be expected. This could result in
flash flooding, particularly across areas that received heavy
rainfall yesterday.

Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
