the situation at the Guajataca Dam, the potential for a dam
failure continues.
The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* The communities downstream from the Guajataca Dam, especially
the low lying areas along the river.

* Through Thursday afternoon

* The effort conducted by the federal and local agencies reduce
the risk of dam failure. However, the potential for failure
continues, for that reason a Flash Flood Watch continues for
the communities downstream from the Guajataca Dam.

Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
