Description: At 835 PM CDT, area rivers, creeks, and streams continue to quickly
rise in response to the heavy rain earlier this evening. While the
heavy rain has ended, areas of flash flooding will continue through
late this evening, particularly near rivers, creeks, and streams.
The Styx River at Elsanor is forecast to rise to major flood stage
by tomorrow morning. The Fish River at Silverhill is forecast to
crest just below flood stage after midnight tonight.

Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Daphne, Fairhope, Gulf Shores, Bay Minette, Foley, Orange Beach,
Spanish Fort, Robertsdale, Point Clear, Loxley, Lillian, Magnolia
Springs, Stapleton, Bon Secour, Summerdale, Silverhill, Perdido
Beach, Elberta, Bratt and Fort Morgan.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
