* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR…
SOUTHERN WALTON COUNTY IN THE PANHANDLE OF FLORIDA…
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA BEACH…

* UNTIL 115 PM CDT…RADAR DETECTED AN AREA OF RAIN WITH EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN WALTON COUNTY. SOME OF THE RAIN
IS HEAVY AND WILL ONLY FURTHER ADD TO THE FLOODING THAT IS ALREADY
OCCURRING ACROSS THE COUNTY GIVEN THE SATURATED CONDITIONS ALREADY
IN PLACE. SEVERAL ROADS REMAINED CLOSED ACROSS THE COUNTY ALONG WITH
SOME URBANIZED FLOODING.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO SHADY
GROVE…ROCK HILL…RED BAY…PORTLAND…PLEASANT RIDGE…NEW
HOME…KNOX HILL…FREEPORT…EUCHEEANNA AND DOUGLASS CROSSROAD.
Instruction: MOVE AWAY FROM RISING WATER TO HIGHER GROUND! MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
