* Until 900 AM CDT

* At 551 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. 2 to 4 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Guthrie, Kingfisher, Hinton, Crescent, Geary, Okarche, Hydro,
Cashion, Calumet, Dover, Cedar Valley, Mulhall, Cimarron City,
Bridgeport, Greenfield and Omega.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
