Northwestern Washita County in western Oklahoma…
Eastern Custer County in western Oklahoma…
Southwestern Blaine County in northwestern Oklahoma…

* Until 815 AM CDT

* At 509 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. 2 to 4 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Another 1 to 2 inches
of rain is possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Weatherford, Clinton, Watonga, Cordell, Burns Flat, Dill City, Corn
and Bessie.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
